About the Reynard 97I (basic)
In the early years of the Pro Racing line, Hot Wheels wanted to create a line that focused on another popular line of racing, Indy Car Racing. As usual in the Pro Racing line they create a Premium Version of a car for adult collectors to showcase, and a Basic Version of the same car that was modified to be lighter, cheaper, and work well on tracks.
