About Warm Wheels

Warm Wheels is an independent, fan-run database of die-cast car variations — the colours, tampos, wheel types, base codes and regional releases that distinguish one casting from the next.

It exists because die-cast collecting, for all its size, never had a properly structured, filterable catalogue. Wikis are wonderful but they're prose; this is data you can browse by vehicle type, era, series, wheel or rarity.

Where the data comes from

The initial catalogue is seeded from the community-run Hot Wheels Wiki, used under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 licence. Every record links back to its source page. Corrections and additions from collectors are what will make it better over time — if you spot something wrong, there's a "suggest a change" link on every page.
