About the Pontiac Funny Car
The Pontiac Funny Car is a Hot Wheels model which debuted in the collector-aimed 100% Hot Wheels series. It features an opening body which displays the engine and interior. It was used twice before being discontinued. The Funny Car class of racing is one of the greatest shows on wheels. With their light-weight fiberglass bodies and engines with horsepower ratings in the thousands, these nitro-methane-gulping monsters blister the quarter mile at speeds in excess of 300 mph.
