About the Peugeot 205 Rallye
The Peugeot 205 T16 is a rally car built by Heuliez for Peugeot Talbot Sport for use in competition. Designed by Bernard Perron, Des O’Dell, Jean Claude Vaucard, Philippe Jarry, André De Cortanze and Jean Pierre Boudy, the 205 T16 was homologated for the Group B class of rallying in the World Rally Championship. Despite it sharing a name with the 205 series of road cars the 205 T16 shared virtually nothing in common with other members of the 205 family, being powered by a 1.8L Peugeot XU8T turbo
