About the Mach 8
The Mach 8 is a kart featured in the Mario Kart video game series. First introduced in Mario Kart 8, it resembles both a jet with a turbine-shaped grille in the front and Formula One race cars of the 1950s. The kart's livery is a color combination reminiscent of the blue and yellow OSCA Tipo G 4500 with a more intense blue color while sporting a yellow racing stripe and tailfin, with the driver's emblem located on the hood and either side of the tailfin.
