About the Ford XR4Ti
Successor to the Ford Cortina and precursor to the Ford Mondeo, the Ford Sierra's rounded styling was controversial, earning the nickname "jelly mould" styling amongst the European public. The two-door model of the Ford Sierra was rebadged as the Merkur XR4Ti when it was sold in North America.
