About the Ferrari F40 (1989)

The Ferrari F40 is a two-door high-performance sports car produced by Ferrari from 1987 to 1992. Designed by Pietro Camardella under Aldo Brovarone, the F40 was intended as the successor to the 288 GTO and was named as such to celebrate Ferrari's 40th anniversary. Notable as the last car personally approved by Ferrari founder Enzo Ferrari, the F40 is powered by a 2.9L F120A twin-turbocharged V8 producing 471 horsepower (US-spec models have a bit more horsepower due to their added weight) mated t
