About the Ferrari F1-89 (RC)
The Ferrari F1-89, often known by its project code of 640, is a Formula One car designed by John Barnard, Pierguido Castelli, Enrique Scalabroni, Henri Durand, Jean-Jacques His and others to compete in the 1989 Formula One World Championship. Driven by Scuderia Ferrari SpA SEFAC drivers Nigel Mansell and Gerhard Berger, the 640 acted as the replacement for the F1/87/88C used the previous year. Technologically advanced for its time, the 640 was the first Formula One car with a semi-automatic gear
