About the Ferrari 512S
The Ferrari 512S Berlinetta Speciale was a wedge-shaped concept car introduced at the 1969 Turin Motor Show. Designed by Filippo Sapino at Pininfarina, the 512S Berlinetta Speciale featured a non-functioning 6.2L V12 from a Ferrari 612 P Can-Am car and featured numerous upwards opening hatches and a distinctive no-door design, with a canopy being lifted for drivers to gain access to the cockpit. The car was built on 312 P chassis 0868 which was crashed at the 1969 1000 km of Monza.
