About the Cockney Cab
The Cockney Cab is a Hot Wheels model designed by Howard Rees which debuted in the 1971 Hot Wheels range of vehicles. It is based on a 1950's London 'Black Cab', hot-rodded with a blown motor. It has an open luggage space instead of a front passenger seat and door, similar to that of a US Mail van from the United States. It is right-hand-drive as are all British cars. It was manufactured at both the USA and Hong Kong production facilities. USA produced cars have clear glass and Hong Kong cars h
