About the Back Burner (Cap Blastin')
Back Burner (later Sonic Special) is an original design by Larry Wood that debuted under the Cap Blastin' series in 1991. It is a depiction of a futuristic supercar with an exposed engine and enlarged rear exhaust. This model was later modified and released as Speed Blaster under Tattoo Machines and many other series starting in 1993. Back Burner was featured in the Heroes on Hot Wheels television series driven by Michael Valiant.
