About the Aston Martin DB5 Safari Edition
The Aston Martin DB5 is a grand touring sports car produced by Aston Martin from 1963 to 1965. Styled by Federico Formenti of Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera, the DB5 was an evolution of the previous DB4 model; differences include an all-aluminum 4.0L inline-6, a new ZF 5-speed manual and three SU carburetors. Standard features include reclining seats, electric windows, twin fuel tanks and 2+2 seating. Production ended in 1965 with 1,059 produced. This model is based on a heavily modified Asto
