About the '91 Mazda MX-5 Miata
The Mazda MX-5, known as the Eunos Roadster in Japan and the Mazda MX-5 Miata in North America, is a lightweight two-seat sports car manufactured by Mazda. The first generation, internally designated the NA, was introduced in 1989; styled by Tom Matano and Shunji Tanaka, the MX-5 was inspired by post-war British sports cars and aided in the rejuvenation in interest in roadsters after the demise of cars such as the Triumph Spitfire and MG B.
