About the '89 Porsche 944 Turbo
The Porsche 944 is a sports car designed by Harm Laagay and produced at Porsche's plant in Neckarsulm in Stuttgart from 1982 to 1991. Built off the platform borrowed from the Porsche 924, the 944 Turbo was a front-engine, rear-wheel drive coupe built from 1985 to 1991. The 944 was offered as an intermediary offering above the 924 coupe and below the 928 and 911 ranges. A total of 25,245 Turbos were built. A stethoscope can be seen in the hatchback.
