About the '64 Buick Riviera
The Buick Riviera was a personal luxury automobile produced the Buick division of General Motors. Designed by Bill Mitchell, the first generation of Riviera was introduced in 1962 as a 1963 model; it featured a distinctive body shell unique to the Buick marque, unusual for a GM product, sporting distinctive coke bottle styling introduced with the Studebaker Avanti. For 1964, minimal changes were made both aesthetically and mechanically, with the most notable changes being slightly revised logoma
