About the 1993 Ford Mustang Cobra R
The Ford Mustang SVT Cobra is a high-performance limited production version of the Ford Mustang. Designed by John Coletti, the first generation of the Mustang Cobra was unveiled at the 1992 Chicago Auto Show; it was the first vehicle to be marketed under Ford's Special Vehicle Team (SVT) division. It was powered by a 4.9L small block V8 carried over from the Mustang GT mated to a BorgWarner T-5 manual.
