About the 1989 Batmobile (1:50)
This is a 1:50 scale rendition of the Batmobile as featured in the 1989 film Batman; in these movies the Batmobile was Batman's primary mode of transportation. It is powered by a jet turbine, capable of taking the vehicle up to 530 km/h (330 mph); it is also equipped with numerous gadgets, such as grappling hooks, bomb dispensers, oil slick dispensers, two Browning 1919 machine guns, and an afterburner exhaust. After it was used the Batmobile was retired and stored in the Batcave under a tarp.
