About the '17 Ford F-150 Raptor (RLC)
The Ford F-150 Raptor is the highest-performance version of the Ford F-150. The second generation of the F-150 Raptor was designed by Gordon Platto and was introduced in 2017 as a 2017 model year model; it was based on the thirteenth-generation F-150. It uses a 3.5L EcoBoost D35 twin-turbocharged V6 mated to a Ford 10-speed 10R80 automatic; it was the first vehicle to debut that transmission.
