About the '15 Porsche 919 Hybrid
The Porsche 919 Hybrid is a sports prototype race car designed and manufactured by Porsche for use in endurance racing. Designed by Alex Hitzinger, the 919 Hybrid was homologated for the LMP1 category in the FIA World Endurance Championship; it was powered by a 2.0L 9R9 turbocharged V4 mated to a 7-speed sequential.
